Dave Sawyer

...is the proprietor of Sawyer EnviroEconomic Consulting.  I am trained in both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of economics and have completed a diverse range of projects focused on assessing regulatory proposals and management instruments, estimating health and environmental benefits, instrument choice  and cost-benefit analysis.  With 15 years of environmental economic experience working for Environment Canada, the Auditor General of Canada, and as a consulting economist, I have a unique and diverse perspective on economics and environmental policy. I treasure my international assignments and have been very fortunate to have worked in the Caribbean, China, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam.

I am an Associate with the climate change and energy team at International Institute for Sustainable Development, was a principal at Marbek, and worked for Gardner Pinfold Consulting Economists
